Pneumatic lifts are referred to as pallet vehicles or pump trucks and are broadly utilized in warehouses and transport facilities to transport materials on pallets. Pneumatic lifts consist of a pair of metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight that contains a pump. The pump is used to elevate and lower the blades.
Visually inspect the pallet lift prior to loading. Make sure the wheels are free of any likely obstacles. Additionally, make sure the handle moves effortlessly and turns appropriately. Inspect the pallet before moving it to assess if it is stacked in a way that minimizes the chance of anything falling off during lifting. Release any air in the pump and let down the blades to the ground by squeezing the lever installed on the inside of the metal loop on the end of the handle. Run the blades into the slots in the pallet and make sure the blades are centered so that the pallets’ mass is evenly dispersed.
By pumping the pneumatic jack lever the blades will ascend from the floor. Once there is full clearance, you can discontinue pumping as there is no need to raise the hoist anymore. To move the pallet lift, you can tow the handle behind you. It is not recommended to push the pallet lift. There will be a huge amount of momentum present. Avoid quick or sharp turns and do not stop too suddenly. Gently bring the pallet to a rest wherever you would like to park it. Squeeze the lever inside the grip end to restore the blades to the ground. Extract the blades from the pallet and return the pallet lift to its designated parking spot.
